Philippe Valter I really like the idea of creating an album using only one synth. Limitation drives creativity, as they say. Favorite track: MS-20.

jmostoller I was impressed with One Synth's ability to take the listener on a journey through so many different emotions with just the use of one synth. Each track is different and unique and adds a different layer to the emotional pallet. My favorite is Odyssey, not only because I'm a big fan of the vintage synth, but because it offers a sense of optimism and fresh air. Favorite track: Odyssey.

about

9 tracks created using only 1 analog monosynth (except track 9, which is a polysynth). 7 tracks are taken from the DreamsOfWires YouTube channel, whilst the Volca Keys and Minilogue tracks are new compositions created exclusively for this release. All tracks are taken from the original source files, and 2 ('Odyssey' & 'MiniMod') were completely remixed and re-effected.
I have tried to avoid tampering with these recordings too much, as they were created in a fairly organic, partly improvised, 'warts & all' manner, which is how I prefer to make music. This keeps it fresh and interesting for me, and retains more sincerity and authenticity than if I'd spent days on end swearing at it and sobbing into my coffee. For me, every piece of music is a work-in-progress, having an evolution or life of it's own, and so there is never a definitive version. There is almost no EQ or compression etc, as I wanted to retain an accurate representation of each instrument.

about

tomorrow the cure UK

'tomorrow the cure' is the artistic name I (Wayne Taylor) have been using online since 2002. It is electronic, mostly created using analog synthesisers.
I also have a YouTube channel titled 'DreamsOfWires', and some of my music on Bandcamp will use this as a secondary title if it is directly related to the music there.
